Known for his fearless fighting style, determination, and deep pride in representing the Hmong people, Yia inspired countless fans both inside and outside the ring. Over his career, he earned multiple championship titles and became a symbol of strength, resilience, and Hmong excellence. Sadly, his life was cut short in 2010 after a battle with liver cancer caused by complications from Hepatitis B, but his impact continues to be felt today.
